Chakdephatte Posted December 26, 2021 Posted December 26, 2021 If you don't mention tests, the answer is quite obvious. Rohit is the GOAT one day opener. Kothili 1
Chakdephatte Posted December 26, 2021 Posted December 26, 2021 Rohit. He has been India's best batsman at home for long. KL Rahul, apart from his 90 at Banglore and 199 at Chennai, has not played any memorable innings in India. KL Rahul is better overseas, but not by a big margin. Kothili 1
Austin 3:!6 Posted December 26, 2021 Posted December 26, 2021 Rohit will feature in top 10 Asian batsman of all time. Rahul is not quiet there yet. Top 10 Asian batsman: Sachin Gavaskar Virat Dravid Sangakkara Miandad Rohit Inzamam Laxman Anwar
Lord Posted December 26, 2021 Posted December 26, 2021 Rahul overseas,Rohit at home. both equally talented but Rohit mentally bit better

Vijy Posted December 26, 2021 Posted December 26, 2021 Neither have convinced fully. Rohit is doing well only a long time, and his overseas batting has been curtailed by injuries. KLR is highly inconsistent.
R!TTER Posted December 26, 2021 Posted December 26, 2021 KL better test bat but RGS is in better form! Vijy 1

KL was memorable throughout that series, without his 5 (6?) fifties we'd lose 3-nil. He was also the top scorer in Pune! Kothili 1

I think had Rohit played this test, he might well have put up a show here given the form he is in. The opposition bowling attack was clearly lacking venom and didn't troubled the openers enough. Rantzz Posted December 27, 2021 Posted December 27, 2021 KL over Rohit for me in all formats including IPL rohit is an overrated overhyped unfit FTB Kothili 1

Chakdephatte Posted December 27, 2021 Posted December 27, 2021 @Kothili, why? Are you a Rohit hater? You can troll vote this one as well but please explain the rationale behind it. I am ready for an open discussion if you want.
vvvslaxman Posted December 27, 2021 Posted December 27, 2021 Both have technical glitches. Just that KL Rahul has reduced it more. Kothili 1

Hopefully he can return to, and then maintain, his best.
