A champion team is supposed to adapt to every condition.last year in WTC final we could have played 4 seamers but we didnt.Batsman sucked as always so we couldnt even draw which was easy. Similarly if NZ lose to India in say SL or UAE it is fair. They should have spinners. And how would more tests in same conditions help?Instead they could schedule tour games for both teams ahead of the final.

I believe the team that lead the WTC championship should get the benefit of playing on a venue of their choice. Whats the point in finishing number 1? There should be some benefit.

Because WTC is played as test series between different nations, not as one off test like WC teams play one match against each other as round robin format. You are deciding a WTC on one test which is played over 2-3 years and as 2-5 test series contests. Vijy 1
