why not? every champion is decided by one game. Tests atleast have 5 days so luck factor is minimised.

Not really. Conditions change everyday. Not an even playing field.

Typical kiwi wickets for example; day 1 is a mamba. Then post 1.5 days it's a flattie. Wicket doesn't even crumble most times. Huge advantage if you win the toss and bowl first.

Final is one off has to be on a natural venue for both sides. So no Asian turners or low flat bouncy wickets and no kiwi seaming wickets. Assuming india kiwi final ofcourse. Just as an example

Maybe Aussie wickets for the final perhaps.

A champion team is supposed to adapt to every condition.last year in WTC final we could have played 4 seamers but we didnt.Batsman sucked as always so we couldnt even draw which was easy.

Similarly if NZ lose to India in say SL or UAE it is fair. They should have spinners.

And how would more tests in same conditions help?Instead they could schedule tour games for both teams ahead of the final.

well yea prep matters. it has to be on a neutral venue otherwise it isnt fair. I believe the team that lead the WTC championship should get the benefit of playing on a venue of their choice. Whats the point in finishing number 1? There should be some benefit.

I guess the venue has to be pre decided. Cant wait for league phase to finish.Maybe allow the no.1 team to decide to bat or bowl without toss

While whole team works hard to win test point, Our skipper Mr Kohli looses point bcos of his inability to take onfield decision on time.

But some people will continue to support him blindly

Because WTC is played as test series between different nations, not as one off test like WC teams play one match against each other as round robin format. You are deciding a WTC on one test which is played over 2-3 years and as 2-5 test series contests.

Pujara and Rahane can't even roll arm to bowl few quick overs.

perhaps they should roll on the pitch instead; create some rough for ashwin to use.

Today KL Rahul was telling Thakur to get to his short leg position quickly. Looks like they are making a conscious effort to improve the over-rate.

that's a problem: Thakur can't move anywhere that quickly. he's moving slugglishly.
