Let us see what  Nehra has to say about this..... he won't like it.

Nehra was fiercely pro Rahane and pro Pujara last time this debate happened....

Dodds ganesh on the right side

gavaskar will change his tune again when this dynamic duo (Batman-Robin) make useless 50s at home

I still remember when Pujara was young and dynamic and scoring all around, this guy use to criticize him for his intent so that rohit can play instead , than he started supporting him once Pujara became geriatric. Gavaskar is utter crap I don't like his commentary and unnecessary dishing out young cricketers like pant and opposition bowlers as well when they stare seniors  ( purane/ Kohli)after bowling a bouncer.

A batsman who does well in Asia will not necessarily also do well in SENA, if not worse.

Im sorry youre wrong here. I know other posters agree with this.

You need to pick players that can play the best in the conditions provided, sometimes this will be different if its SENA or Asia.

thats what I said, but the reverse is not true.

Mayank is beast in Asia, but struggles in SENA because of his technique.Such players shouldnt be backed much

Its exactly what I said, go reread my posts, but this time take care to do it properly.

You pick the best players suited to the conditions.

Prithvi shaw will still be in the reckoning as long as KL Rahul doesn't elevate his batting to next level.

Yes, KL batting consistency is a concern. But every time he scores, we win mostly. Too many chinks in Shaw's batting(Sehwag like not).
