PREDICT Kohli's batting performance post captaincy. Is retirement from cricket coming soon too ?

He always was a front foot plonker. His decline in batting is due to his eyesight issues. Sehwag had developed same problem.

Its all upto him ,if he can leave his massive ego aside and work on his game and teamwork ,he might have another proper run in him .

 

But it seems this guy has lost all his appetite to get better, he can't take any criticism (his ego won't let) ,and in these circumstances, the most obvious answer to this question is ,he'll retire soon before getting criticized or dropped.

He is mentally weak now if he does not perform in couple of games he might announce  retirement early he wont give chances to selectors to drop him.

He set a very high standard for himself by churning out century after century. Now they have deserted him. But even he does half as good as he used to he will still look better than most players.  He will look bad only when the new comers outperform him.

Should’ve given him a rest in SA, he looks uninspired after quitting Test captaincy . Get his mojo back with some break. This series doesn’t even count for the WC super league
