We keep discussing Jaddu/Sundar/Axar etc, even Shahbaz but this guy deserves a shot atleast.

Bowling is fine for 2 overs too and good fielder.

he is very limited against pace+bounce although the same is true for jaddu and axar in their batting. only thing is that axar is a more reliable T20 bowler than tewatia

can use the long handle under pressure. That's what matter more in T20 than technique etc

yes, but he cannot be 5th bowler whereas someone like axar can. if chosen, he is a 6th bowler not 5th

Axar can't bat vs pace at all let alone slog. 5th bowler doesn't need to be great. Can share overs with SDP too.

Hitting at Wankhede is one thing. Doing the same at Perth is another thing. These are flat batting tracks where all bowlers travelled. Even Rashid travelled. The noob guy made 25 in 6 balls smashing one of the best limited over bowler going around. He is a good pick for the franchise leagues that happen on these kind of tracks.

T20 pitches are flatter in Aus. Even cutters don't grip.

As batsman all will struggle to hit from ball-1 in Aus (neways its a very hard job) Jadeja currently is best equipped and thats the most worrying part

jadeja is not so equipped to hit anymore. he is not a slogger or death over batting specialist.

Leggies the one who take wickets out of nowhere. Yep he's not great there but with big boundaries, such risk can be taken

I wasn't clear enough. Batting is his strong suit while we need an extra bowler to carry the burden of Bumrah-Bhuvi, and who knows, even Shami.

just get better first 4 bowlers. Our batting is weaker still

He looks very one dimensional but gets the job done so can’t take anything away.

has only a couple of scoring shots and uses them spectacularly.

also benefits from dumb bowling but you still need temperament to pull it off, so will give him credit. Sir Tewatiya :hatsoff:

Keep him away from anything over bilateral t20i’s though. That’s a happy medium.
