Given his age, if he works harder and adds more variation he is a very good long term prospect. At this point only a handful of guys like Yash Dhayal, Khaleel, Moshin are competing with him in the left arm seamer department

We have to view bowling as a unit not individual. Going with 5 Umrans or 5 chahals or 5 bhumras don't mean we will win every match.

If one of Hooda or SKY had stuck with Hardik, they could have finished much better. Iyers (one) instead of Akshar could give us better finishing push to go beyond 210. We were 130+ after 13 overs and kind of maintained 10 rpo even at 20 overs. Edited July 8, 2022 by coffee_rules

Also isnt an all phase bowler. We need 3 all phase pacers. Has conceded 40+ four times already including 50 v Ireland.

Lone Wolf Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 (edited) Harshal has a habit of going full monty once someone gets a hold off him.. Reliability factor is rather low. Saffers did inflict a reasonable thrashing on him on a placid Delhi Track... So I would rather have Umran or Arshdeep vs SA in Perth. Remains to be seen how Harshal does vs Pak... He most likely will play Asia cup game so we will have to gauge him against their matchups. His skill set is limited with no new ball skill so we have to tread carefully with him. Deepak Chahar the batter is a reasonable hitter down the order as well Edited July 8, 2022 by Lone Wolf

Only bhuvi n bumrah are all phase. Siraj was one but completely lost his form harshal, arshdeep are 2 phase Deepak, umran are 1.5 half phase avesh is all phase but very very inconsistent he doesnt need grip his slower one depends on dip , have a read If i show a similar slower on in australia Its dip not grip Slowers ones have done great in BBL 1 hour ago, Lord said: Has conceded 40+ four times already including 50 v Ireland. 4 in 15 games , in the game he got beaten even other were. Whos the batsman here? Most good bats will see it from hand and then it needs grip from pitch. Though Harshal gets dip like Bravo but slower one only can't save him. Doesnt have great yorker too.

Still a lot to prove how much has he even played in SENa how is this goal post changing ?? Earlier u said he relies on grip, i showed its dip not grip then u said it wont work in Aus , then i showed how mcgrath n bumrah worked with same dipping slower one in test and how even guys like kane, ellis, sams have used slower one in BBL Then it became about batsman 39 minutes ago, Lord said: Check Bravo's numbers in SENA in both LOI formats, specially Aus ODI formats and t20 are different also how does other condition matter if the wc is in Aus where he has just bowled 2 overs. He has a good record in england so how wud it matter in australia We all know how windies player play for WI When bravo example its given its to state that if its so easy to figure out his slower one ppl are yet to figure out bravo and bravo struggled when every ball is a slower on Also harshal isnt just about slower one, its also about length variation 39 minutes ago, Lord said: He's also a more rounded bowler than Harshal.
