India will be asked to make a quick turnaround from their disappointing loss at Edgbaston in Birmingham, drawing the Test series 2-2. They will now prepare form a three-match T20I series, beginning on Thursday, 7 July, followed by a three-match ODI series, an important set of matches against one of the world’s strongest white-ball sides ahead of the T20 World Cup later this year.

England (probable): 1 Jason Roy, 2 Jos Buttler (capt & wk), 3 Dawid Malan, 4 Moeen Ali, 5 Liam Livingstone, 6 Harry Brook, 7 Sam Curran, 8 Chris Jordan, 9 Tymal Mills, 10 Reece Topley, 11 Matt Parkinson

India (probable): 1 Rohit Sharma (capt), 2 Ishan Kishan, 3 Suryakumar Yadav, 4 Deepak Hooda, 5 Hardik Pandya, 6 Dinesh Karthik (wk), 7 Axar Patel, 8 Harshal Patel, 9 Bhuvneshwar Kumar, 10 Yuzvendra Chahal, 11 Umran Malik/Arshdeep Singh

Will never be able to understand obsession with Akshar. The guy was nowhere in the scheme of things for LOIs since last 2-3 yrs, suddenly performed against England in home tests and he is back in the LOI squad...Horrible case of mixing the formats. Not saying he is test specialist but his LOI numbers are mediocre and he doesn't offer anything new.
