Has the SKY met its limit?  Another golden duck. This is going beyond bad luck. Hope he figures it out soon!

Too much focus on the star life and covering his bodies in tattoos.

This is what happens when you prioritise being a star than a good player

He is 32-33. Decline can set in quickly for reflex dependant players. I hope this is just a temporary blip before he gets back to his best form.

Yes, Surya Kumar Yadav is indeed a special player in the world of cricket. His batting skills, particularly his ability to play 360-degree shots, are remarkable and make him a formidable player on the field. However, it's not just his cricketing prowess that sets him apart, but also his attitude and demeanor.

Yadav's no-nonsense attitude and quiet confidence are truly impressive. He focuses on his job, which is to contribute to his team's victory, and remains grounded even when he achieves personal milestones. His muted celebrations upon reaching personal landmarks show his humility and team-first approach, which is commendable in a sport that often sees flamboyant celebrations.

Yadav's dedication to the team's success and his selfless approach make him a role model for aspiring cricketers. His professionalism and commitment to the game are evident in his performances on the field, where he consistently strives to contribute to his team's victory.

Yadav's special brand of cricket and his exemplary attitude deserve to be promoted, as he sets a positive example for aspiring cricketers and fans alike. His qualities as a player and as a person make him a truly special and valuable asset to the world of cricket

Just bad phase for him..he is not struggling like..playing many balls an dstill not able to score..he is getting out first ball..means just bad luck and bad phase for him..

We all know he takes calculated risks..those are not coming off as of now..

most recent dismissal was a six if it had been a quicker bowler like Nortje..

just matter of time..he starts scoring again..

only concern is he shouldnt listen to outside noise..and not let his confident and mental state get affected..as then it will be come an issue..

As far as ODIs\Tests concerned..it requires slight different approach than T20 technically and mentally..infact t20,ODi,Tests..all 3 need different approach..so selectors shouldnt mix formats..and let him first prove himself in domestic List A and Ranji matches..

to be fair..Iyer was first choice..in ODIs..and infact I will prefer Patidar first ahead of SKY in ODIs..

but in T20s SKY is king..

must be really glad now that they have ph@kked his T20 tempo and batting form by playing him in Tests and ODIs.

his biggest contribution to Indian cricket will be after 5-6 years when youngsters will base their game on his style of playing 360 shots.. if you perfect it, you can actually play it in all three formats as Eng have shown. SKY's legacy carriers will help us win the elusive ICC trophies.

ABDV was always there. Just that nobody could do what he could. SKY is doing now. You need to have strong off side game to be successful with 360 degree game. Otherwise bowlers can stifle you.

yes but ABD was always treated as a genius and hyped as impossible to emulate.. I frankly believe that ABD wouldn't have achieved those numbers without the support of chinnaswamy or exploiting the 5th bowler weakness.. add his below par T20I numbers .. SKY > ABD in my view

SKY is 32 now and not a regular in ODIs/tests. He won't even come close to AB's numbers in those 2 formats. In T20Is yes, he has been on another level. Or were u referring to a specific innings?

Stat Update:  This 33 yr old Hack cum Minnow Basher now averages 23 in ODIs, after having played 24 Odis.  This is the worst batting average by an indian batsman in odi history.  Considering batsmen who play as specialist.  (With no other role).

no, there are quite a few bad ones. from the ones I recall with 20+ ODIs, there was W Raman (tuk tuk hacker), praveen amre (good test player, but bad for ODIs), G vishwanath (v. good test player, but bad for ODIs), etc. SKY's ODI record is oddly like uthappa (who has slightly higher avg, but lower SR).

As it stands, he is not even yusuf pathan or afridi level, both of whom scored faster at least (yusuf also had higher avg)
