If Arshdeep keeps performing , i think this will then be our 5 man pace bowling attack for T20 Wc

What's wrong with Siraj? Why not him?

By playing him, we have a bowler ideal for each length.

Good- Bumrah, Bhuvi

BOL- Siraj, Pandya

Full- Siraj

Bouncer- Pandya (Middle overs)

If piches are flat, this is our bestest quartret.

i like him but his IPL form has gone against him, its not my choice but how TM is thinking

I hve been wanting siraj in all 3 format

Preferred “attack”

Bumrah

Moshin

Umran

SDP

Yuzi (or equivalent)

Hooda

Tewatia (or equivalent)

* No trundlers unless they have some specific skills such as ability to swing, nail yorkers, bat, and so on.

* Add 4 batsmen to complete the 11

Mohsin? Is he even in the reckoning? We don't know if he even good enough.

He should be if in form and fit … I said “preferred”, selectors can pick many trundlers who will eventually get smashed against in form full strength teams in key games of the World Cup (and batsmen who can make Ind 20/3) :dontknow:

Didn't answer my second question. And how is he different from trundlers?

See the actual bowl, not data from faulty speed guns. He is fast-medium.

Follow the games! Closely!

Speed guns validate what you see on screen … If you follow the game closely, he varies his pace and bounce (so maybe you missed out on his quick deliveries)

Wouldn't argue because I don't watch LSG usually. I can't stand their jersey at all. But by his second season, things will get clearer. This is too early for him. And he doesn't have any X-factor to be fast tracked early.

Moshin is good talent (beyond judging him based on seasons). Probably, the best left arm most stages T20 bowler in Ind if fit and in form.

Everyone needs to prove himself for some time unless he has some X-factor. He doesn't have.

Khaleel. He is now ready and is an all-phase bowler.

Moshin has the X-factor. Need to see him bowl and to key batsmen.

Guys like Khaleel are more form dependent  bowlers, who can become inconsistent.

Trundler attack, Bhuvi, Harshal, Arshdeep all so similar

Vahi toh, thing is trundlers always bring a false perception of offering control

Monotonous attacks never helps

People who are red hot in form,(say even having novelty),'fringe' guys so be it

T20s can be won by the heroics of a noname guy on a given night, ability and current form matters

My preferred bowling attack based on playing conditions in Australia and current form ....

6. Hardik

7. Jadeja / Axar

8. Bhuvi / Harshal / Chahar

9. Bumrah

10. Chahal

11. Siraj

....  Bumrah, Siraj and Hardik will form a good pace attack for Australian conditions.

....  No ideal candidate for 8

....  Will have to go to one among Bhuvi / Harshal / Chahar based on playing conditions and need for extra batting ability or extra specialist bowler.

Mohsin should have been developed for No.8

...  Tall hit the deck pacer ideal for Australia

...  All phase bowler

... Swings the new ball

... Can hit the deck hard for bounce when needed. Has natural bounce

... Good death bowler

... Wicket taker cum economical bowler.

... Big hitter with the bat at the end
