I was expecting this after his last interview. He seemed to be done. He never took care of his health. 62 years was pretty long given health conditions. He will be sorely missed.

He owned a minority stake (30-40%) in the company. From what little I know Akasa air has already raised money from various PE firms and have a couple of aircraft acquisitions lined up over the next 2 years.
