Shahrukh is not international standard  

Umran lacks new ball skills so no for ODI 

Iyer shud play in ODIs 

KL shud also play that series since has missed out a lot due to injuries 

Prasidh is inured so i think he is out for a while now 

Arshdeep shud play as he ll get better with more international exposure. 

Axar again shud keep playing 

Hooda also shud keep playing

Umran is in India 4 day squad so he is definitely ODI class. 

 

Umran Prasidh Siraj Mohsin should be 4 quicks.  No Thakur. 

Samson Gill Ishan & maybe Tripathi in ODI team. 

Iyer will be with main team on a plane to Aus I think.

At some point we need to move past Dhawan, he's an ODI legend but we need to look to the future.

Pretty much...  These guys also have to play warm up games before the main tourney.  Training camps & everything means T20 WC bound squad for both India SA won't play ODIs mod likely.

i hope atleast reserve players are allowed specially shami , iyer, chahar ................aise to squad hi nhin banegi. I dont want to see thakur as one of our leading bowlers

Team will depart for Australia early I think so even back ups may not be available. I may be wrong though.

Dhawan bhai must be there   we need him in 2023. This is not T20 experience matters. His injury was the reason we lost the last worldcup .

Thakur can play in ODIs at 7.

 

Siraj and Prasidh are not in T20 squad so they will be lead bowlers. Kuldeep a lead spinner. Avesh probably a third pacer and in my opinion,they should give a Umran or Mohsin a try as 4th pacer in the squad.

 

Iyer should play these ODIs imo. Opposition is SA so a good testing for him. Rest like KL, Hooda should play their warm up games, they do have T20 series lineup up vs Aus and SA before world T20 so game time is not a worry for them.

Really sad that S Thakur did not live up the expectations of intl cricket.  He could hv proved himself as a challenger for Pandya as an all rounder.  Now a days, he is not being considered for big tournaments. (Understandably so). Only included in useless bilateral series, mostly involving minnows.    This is not good for indian cricket, overall.  Pandya will continue to feel that he is the undisputed pace bowling all rounder of our team and hence his mediocre performance in future will be overlooked.
