SA another weakness is QDK-Bavuma batting although they are good players of fast bowling . If totals are high not an ideal opening pair but if totals will be low then they can be a problem

rabada number are also not great if u dig through them they are quite avg specially by his stature

Rabada avg is 27 and eco 8.42 .............Ngidi avg is atleast 18

In pp - he avg 33.5 and eco 7.94 .............if  take a spinner like ashwin his eco and avg are better in PP then Rabada

in middle he avg 42 eco 8.67 (this is supposed to be his strongest phase)

in death eco is 9.35 (which ok but for his level its not good)

I would easily take Rabada in any Indian team … Note Ashwin would usually bowl in certain conditions and esp. when left handers are on. Not a sure starter in an 11 … Rabada bowls anytime to anyone (no match ups needed)

It is not unusual for teams to go at 12-15 RPO in the last 3-4 overs. One boundary and 5 singles (which teams will happily concede over boundaries), translate to 9 RPO.

in regd to ashwin vs rabada, i specifically talked about PP where fast bowlers have a new ball which is too their advantage as compare to a spinner

No ash bowls to righties too, im also in look for that data how much of diff is their

Does Ashwin bowl/open the bowling regularly in PP esp. on batting friendly pitches? How many overs esp. in first 4 overs?

he has bowled 66 overs in 40 innings  thats quite a lot means he is atleast bowling 1 n half overs a game

66 overs is enough sample

Most t20 pitches around the world are batting friendly

Again pointless information

Many spinners bowl in PP esp. overs 4-5-6. Axar bowls in PP too in India.

Pakistan

  • Babar-rizwan low s/r
  • Middle order problem against high pace hard length specially khushdil
  • Even babar recently was found wanting against pace
  • Shaheen coming after long gap
  • Inexperience of dahani, Naseem and wasim although skill set is quite good
  • Pakistan havent enjoyed Australian conditions historically

I think these no's are very decent tbh..  Considering Rabada gets to play in SA where pitches are true & ball flies around in Highveld & super fast outfields.  Joburg is notorious for proper run fests in white ball cricket

Pointless information as not many are going to consider Ashwin over Rabada in T20s not matter what silly stuff is posted.

Axar can bowl in PPs too. Not many are going to open bowling with Axar-Ashwin (unless the pitch is a turner).

Would take Rabada over Ngidi in Aus easily.Ngidi,Nortje etc are support bowlers where Rabada is spearhead

Better in death and can strike early with pace and bounce.

  • PP numbers basically are not giving anything great like wkts or s/r ...............if you compare to someone like bhuvi his avg and eco are far differnt. Even if ur avg isnt great the eco shud be in rabada case avg is not good and eco is ok. Even shaheen who avg i was suprised to see but eco under 7
  • middle over which is his best avg is very high again eco is a lil higher , if you compare someone like bumrah in his best phase thats death ull see how much impact he makes

These numbers are good for the likes of decent bowler but not someone like rabada

Ball flies in Sa but once its off the bat and out of circle anyways doesnt matter in PP, Sa does offer help to seamers

no one is saying choose, ashwin is taken as a point of ref

u want me to compare his numbers to shaheen or bhuvi for ur pleasure .

Ashwin is not a point of reference for PP bowling for pacers. Neither is Axar. Unless they are good enough to open the bowling to a variety of oppositions and in conditions.
