On current form, even Bumrah and Nortje won't make it. And Archer has not played for an year. Very unfortunate for viewers.

Ok if its about today whats archer doing in the list ?? He has been injured , even shaheen, bumrah for few months . 

 

Cummins numbers this yr have been quite avg 

Nortje numbers are horrible this yr 

 

 

How do judge when u say today ??

I mean the best t20i players active today (not retired), but the choice is yours, if you believe that somebody has been in very good form recently and deserve to be in the top 5 rankings you can vote for them as well

Ashwin shud be one the list the guy has an eco under 7 and avg also 22.98 , those are better then many many on the list

3. rashid khan

5. Shadab - hardest to pick so ill go for a spinner with extra value. But im just taking it coz i have to choose one

Ashwin of 2011-14 would have been, not this Ashwin. 2014 WT20 performance by him is still the gold standard for T20 spinners, average of 11 at ER 5, that magical spell against Aussies and also the ATG SF performance against rampant Saffers on a patta (IMO the greatest spin bowling spell till date in all editions of WT20). Really we should have won that edition, God knows what happened tp Yuvi and MS in the final.

U shud see ashwin numbers ever since he has returned 

 

his eco is 6.23 and avg 23 , that eco is too good ................i think only twice has he gone 8+ since his return 

i knw ppl have this notion against defensive bowling but its very misunderstood and rashid khan and narine have spoken about it in t20 cricket 

 

Even his overall numbers are solid

Shadab Khan is probably the best T20 bowler today. Dude just has some serious impact in the middle overs and offers great control and wicket taking threat.
