KKR or PBKS can pick Joe Root if they want someone at top who is fluent vs all type of bowling.

 

GT did smart thing by picking Williamson. Their top order was weak.

He deserved it..can be an off spin option too in case of any issue with balance. I think RR had the balance issue last year, they didn't had a sixth bowler.

His selection became tougher after he was omitted from England team set up. He had the form. But he was not even playing for England.
