Or maybe not. The team has left without him. In present times, supporting an alleged rapist, and one with a history of a similar previous allegation at that, is not a smart move.

That would be just on the surface, you know how things work in the background. Not saying he's guilty/innocent either way but usually the people in power will get their posse out as long as it's useful for them!
