Naseem Shah is the toughest bowler i have faced-Liam Livingstone

Going by his career and how he is persisted despite many years of failures - Is Liam Livingstone the KL Rahul of England?

Maybe his bowling gives them an edge, but I have never seen his batting causing any news!

His bowling is quite good in T20s, but batting never clicked against big teams

I have never seen any bowler being hyped up with such average stats as Naseem has. At least Afridi had some real stats in all formats and had some match changing spells before being hyped so much. For Naseem hype was all about his fake age. His test average is still 34 and 33 in t20s, its only ODIs, where he has the least sample, where he has done good. Afridi is head and shoulders above him in both tests and t20s and not too bad in ODIs either.

Still can't wrap my head around the Naseem Shah hype. With Shaheen at least he had a good couple of years where he was good with the new ball. But with Naseem Shah there was no performance at any time across any format. He has been ordinary in Tests, ODIs and T20s, and is only known for his 2 6s he hit against Afghanistan. What exactly has he ever achieved as a bowler to deserve all this hype?

TBF Livingston has performed his best (by far) against the Pakistani team. In T20s he averages 50 at SR of 208! vs Pak. 

 

Mediocre batters have a tendency to hype up bowling attacks against whom they had done well. It makes their rare performances look bigger. 

 

Just like our Sanju Manju, who averages freaking 95! vs Pak in Tests, but can't stop jizzing about the Pakistani ball tamperers.

No- Eng. never hyped him as the next big thing for Eng. cricket, they only use him in white-ball cricket more so in t20is where he is good.

 

Avg 26 coming at no 5/6/7, can bowl both legspin and off spin so a positive match-up against the batters, his t20i eco. is just over 8 any team would take it if this is coming from a no 6/7/8 bowler

 

Whereelse KL was/and still is hyped as next big thing in Ind. cricket and has kind of superstar status after kolhi and sharma in batting, plays all format. if he does not do well in batting he is asked to keep wkt just to keep his place and then once the batting is sorted he is back to batting again.

Not sure who and why they asked such  question to him he played just 1 test 27 Odis and 50.

Where and when is he playing any bowler ??? And to pick Naseem is odd he has not played any ODI against Pak and that lone test is against pak.

But if you're doing so well against the said bowler and the team the bowler plays for - in this case an average of 50 and SR of 208 - doesn't the logic and simple common sense dictates that you're likely finding the bowlers & opponents you're not scoring against much more difficult to face? I mean say you're struggling against Aus and have gotten out to Cummins or Hazlewood multiple times, I would wager you're finding those bowlers much more difficult to face than the ones against whom you're averaging 50 at a SR of 200+

 

Surely, anyone can see through it. I would assume even madrassa educated inbreds would be able to understand this basic logic.
