For someone who talks a lot about match ups, data points Dravid dropped the ball on this one. Everybody knows Indian top 3 are the poorest against leg spinners. Old Kohli could handle leg spin better. But last 2 or 3 years Kohli has been poor against leggies as Adil Rashid/Zampa have owned him several times. England got away with 7 overs of leg spin for 41 runs. Pant didn't even get a chance to bat against any of the leg spinner.

Yea completely forgot. May be i  excluded aliens lol That guy at international level is far superior compared to IPL.  Not worse than MSD.

 

332 balls 412 runs  15 dismissal 27.46 avge 124 strike rate. Have you ever seen SKY batting like this in the IPL? I sure have not. But when he plays internationals he becomes a different beast. May be the role he played for MI restricted him.

Among our youngsters, Kishan is the one who struggles the most against spin.  Hooda is a spin basher like Iyer.
