Donot see longterm solution in Kishan- too many flaws in his technique specially ball decking away from him and not able to rotate strike, but on current form he should be #1 opener.

 

And with Pant's unfortunate injury, Kishan should have been a natural successor.

Gill has the same issue. Infact,he is the worst. He can eat balls in the front and then get out trying to score a useless 50. Kishan should be played every match and told to get going straight away. If he gets out,fine but no tuk tuk. The guy at the other end does it anyways. Atleast give him 5 matches after that 200 which your baap,dada's and khandaan's cannot score in many lifetimes

Gill, Kishan ,SKY should be the top 3 . Rohit ,Kohli & KL will stat pad against SL . Kuldeep ,Washy & Bishnoi should be ahead of the Axar, Chahal & even Jadeja.

Kohli should be ahead of SKY in odis. Kohli's game has not changed in whiteball cricket.He is not  competing with SKY as far as batting slot.
