If you know it then why dont Opposition know it that they are not in power, so should not be corrupt till they come in power.  No?

Very sick statement on your part. Once you get in power it is ok to imprison your opponents? sick.

Leader of opposition stripped of power? Even Indira Gandhi never did that. Overreach by an obscure judge in Gujrat. This is a dark day in Indian history. Rather the second darkest day after emergency.

He is not the Leader of Opposition. It is vacant currently. Earlier it was Kharge, who is now LoP in RS. He is not even the leader of INC. Kharge  is and earlier it was Sonia. He was a MP and now he is not.

Democracy is in more danger when you target your opponents and put them in jail. BJP is turning India into a Banana Republic.

Democracy is also about questioning Rahul Gandhi. Questioning how leaders with big failures still occupy the top space.

The opposition has to fix its democracy, and get rid of its failed leaders. Bring new leaders, and innovate. Democracy is all about innovation and changes.

Also, BJP didn't put him in jail, so it's hilarious to see Congress questioning the constitutional itself. That arrogant Rahul could have just apologized, but he still chooses and wants insult to the community.

1) Indira Gandhi jailed the opposition and gagged the press

2) Judges are not celebrities. They are meant to be obscure. If you have read the judgement, tell us your counterpoint.

Emergency was done by the govt at the time, not the court. FYI

Very well put. Exactly how Sudhanshu Trivedi so articulately put it in the PC. His team never put in their counter argument in court either by design or arrogance towards a lower court.

Answer the question na. Who has been targeted unfairly?

According to you opposition lawbreakers should not be brought to book.

Who RaGa, Handsome Sisodia and Sayendra Jain? They all have legit cases against them. What do you mean all opponents are in jail?

These posts are below your intellect. Do you seriously believe similar cases cannot be brought against others?

Opposition is being jailed. Press is being gagged in a different manner.

A judgement like this should have gone to upper courts rather than this one.

There is a spirit of the law and letter of the law... In this case, court / judge has followed the letter of the law and punished RaGa.  He can appeal, but he wont. He is extracting maximum mileage from this publicity.

With this verdict court has gone way overboard.

H S Puri compared Rajiv Gandhi to an ass. Should he not be kicked out and thrown in jail?

Just trying to understand the law so help me out.

Let them put a defamation case, personal insults are debatable, but casteist slurs are debatable in court only. And he lost. Modi was called Maut ka saudagar, so did he file a case ?

All of them.

Really? So all the MPs and MLAs who have been found guilty of hoarding money (caught taking money), doing shady deals with public money, etc. are all innocent?

Lovely. Nothing to see here then. Case closed by Sherlock Khota.

They are only investigating their opponents. It can work both ways.

Pretty much all of them. All. Of. Them.

What case has been brought up vs the PM Modi, Nitin Gadkari, S. Jaishankar, Smriti Irani, Kiren Rijeju etc.? What is the evidence you have against anyone for them to be in jail?
