Don’t know why so much fuss sometimes it might be repair work will take longer. Just move on and watch at alternate location. It also depends on how many tickets are sold at a venue to make it a permanent location and population just because you feel it is picturesque doesn’t make it first choice.

Many tourists may have booked hotels, air tickets, tour packages etc. to coincide with the test. Especially Aussie fans, since that region is such a tourist hub. How is it fair if it is moved last minute for such a stupid reason? Had it been natural calamity like earthquake/cyclone/floods (or say some public health crisis), it would have been perfectly understandable.

Disgraceful planning by those involved,

Third test moved to Indore.

Last time a SENA team played in Indore this happened

India 557/5 decl.

NZ 299

India 216/3 decl.

NZ 153 all out

Ashwin's best bowling figures I guess, 6/81, 7/59.

Kohli 200, Pujara 2nd innings 100, heck Rahane scored 188:hysterical:, Kohli-Rahane almost a 400 runs partnership

Good luck Aussies!!!!

I have seen Aussie/England fans planning their tour only to watch it at  Dharmshala. Mostly they plan their tour in such way. Pathetic on BCCI's part to name it as venue at first place, it is not as renovation started yesterday.

Clearly articles mentioned it’s been raining in Dharamsala. BCCI can’t control rains. The tourists can definitely will loose some money but what can bcci do if the weather is bad and delays repair work ?

Why don't they hold high profile series in marquee venues like Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkatta, Chennai, Bangalore instead of smaller venues.

Some where read that BCCI stopped hosting test matches in metro cities due to poor turn-out. Recent test matches hosted only in Tier-II Cities. Maybe Odd One or two matches was hosted in Metro cities, But now mostly it is Tier-II Cities.

Legendary Incompetent...  Nepotism product Jay Shah at it again...  State of affairs in BCCI.

If we had a impartial folks in GOI they would hung this guy by balls.  Unbelievable considering Indian reputation is tarnished by such acts.

BJP does not do nepotism, so the only explanation is Je Sa is not related to anyone from BJP :hysterical::hatsoff:

No they won't...  But for damage control they could have hosted it in nearby PCA Mohali.

But lack of common sense & wastage of resources is Classic BCCI.

This is what happens when u appoint clowns in highest positions.

If Rahul Gandhi had some sense he had every right to rip apart Jay Shah everytime BJP asks about Nepotism.

I would be happier if this happened to Pommies and not Aussies

Relative to Pommies, Aussies are reasonable.

Poms made a lot of noise when we cancelled the Test...  I remember Ganguly had to go & calm things down.  Similar reasons like tourism hospitality & revenue were given when Test was cancelled/moved out if Manchester.

But yeah travelling Aussie fans will surely be miffed or feel cheated.
