ravishingravi
I definitely didn't see this coming. This is in some ways bigger than peace accord between Israel and Saudis that was pulled off by Trump. West is in disarray. https://twitter.com/KSAmofaEN/status/1634180277764276227?s=20 https://www.cnbc.com/2023/03/10/arch-rivals-iran-and-saudi-arabia-agree-to-revive-ties-reopen-embassies.html mishra
Moochad
Well MBS seems like a relatively progressive leader for the Islamic world. He seems to be combatting a lot of the extremism in Saudi.

ravishingravi
Probably the first signs of new world order. How does India navigate ? Opportunities and risks galore. Stay non committal. Get to $ 10 trn. Then we have seat at the table.
randomGuy
2 American banks (svb and silvergate) failed... I think for now American inflation will be contained but future looks increasing difficult National debt will soon be $35 trillion this year. US Govt. Net annual income is 4.5 trillion usd ...5% annual interest on 35 trillion is 1.75 trillion... but their debt is growing very very fast ..soon 35 trillion will be 40 trillion and more.. No government in this world including Indian govt can pay it's debt actually...but US debt to GDP is much higher and is sustained by 1. dollar reserve currency 2. Sought after Immigration destination. In addition USA has vast land and natural resources, gold reserves and many more strengths.. The near future will be about India's ascent as we come from a very low base...can easily see India becoming a 10 trillion usd economy...usa still has 25 trillion GDP... whether we will overtake usa, china in next 25-30 years is the interesting question. Grand_Design
The dollar as the de factor solereserve currency has to end. It is strengthening whilst other currencies are weakening significantly. We need to negotiate trade deals with other countries and minimize the use of the dollar ourselves. ravishingravi
