@cowboysfan Even Siddhu is changing textbooks and trying to reintroduce Tipu who has been unduly glorified without a mention of his ethnic cleansing in Mandya or Kodagu..   I can share a snippet where even the geography textbook mentions the main religion of Mongol to be islamic . Not sure if the error Is blatant

Silk has been in Karnataka for more than 1500 years, but textbooks during Congress rule in 2013-18 claimed Tippe was credited for the Mysore Silk industry while it was promoted  by the wodeyars! We are going back to glorifying Tippe Sultan again

Lies being spread by Toolkits

lies of Siddramullah. He wants subsidized rice from FCI to fulfil poll freebies using central governments name. CG gives 5 kg already. Additional 5 kg from Congress freebie can be bought in open market like other states do.

Pointless expecting Congress to tell the truth or not spin it for their own benefit some day.

All this done while they have quietly snuck in the repeal of the anti-conversion bill. BJP should learn from Congress on how to do these things without causing a fuss.

All major news outlets have reported on it including TOI, Deccan, Hindustan Times. Nothing sneaky or quiet about it

Nobody is aware what you put in classifieds.  Literally everyone is aware of this

Why? It was covered in the Hindu, Times of India and Hindustan Times. Everyone should be aware of this. It is mentioned in all newspapers.

The Nandini/Amul fracas got more publicity than this. Anyways hats off to Congress to show how to consolidate their vote bank without fuss. BJP should learn from this.

They changed back textbooks, reversed anti-conversion bills.

Talking reversing cow slaughter ban and reservations to Muslims. Take away reservation to L hatata and also going to celebrate Tippu Jayanti. But went with electricity unit price hike that the electricity regulator had recommended which BJP had not signed.

All in one month

Not sneakily but swiftly within a month. They didn’t waste no time. BJP took 3 years to pass anti-conversion bill. Congress know how to use power, BJP has a lot to learn to be a fascist state.

Governments should not be in charge of textbooks, there should b a independent body which is in charge of it.this is what happens every 5 years.BJP has politicized even education and now the Congress is in on it too.

Congress had been changing and regulating text books since 1950s , you were blind to that. Suddenly you have “woken “ up!

The funny part is that noone *that has a problem today* had a problem with our distorted history books until recently. They were ok not having any representation of our ancient and middle age dynasties. No representation of the south and the north-east, no mention of the atrocities of the Islamic dynasties on people, over-representation of the Mughals, deification of Gandhi - the genocide approver and a complete passing reference to all the other revolutionaries involved in our struggle. 0 coverage of genocides like the Moplah genocide, Direct action day, the Razakar massacres etc.

We don't even cover any history post-independence. The abject failure of Nehru, the mysterious deaths of anyone that opposed him or were competition to his legacy such as Rajendra Prasad, Indira Gandhi's emergency (actual fascism), the kichdi mess after, etc. all never covered.
