Kphli was respected but now he has declined rapidly. 

 

I dont know who will take over honestly. We badly need a performing captain. 

Bumrah is too dumb to be captain.

Umesh problem is not fitness, his problem is he is brainless and has no idea how to bowl consistent line.He changed his action in later part of his career more to focuss on reverse swing.2011 he had beautiful outswinger too.Umesh had everything you need in fast bowler.

 

He is too laid back and never learnt the art of setting up a batsmen at test level.He always depended on bowling jaffas.

I don't think so, Aussies are still playing Warner , England still playing Broad and Anderson.

 

Them bringing back both Pujara and Rahane was problem but other than that I don't think you can fault selector much.

 

Pant is injured noone can help.

It is a garbage batting line up. They basically work like this. One guy will score a 40 or 50 in one innings. 4 will go missing. Next match second will score. Other 4 will go missing.  This has been going on for 3 years. Whenever there is a flat wicket they score some runs and solidify their spots.

If you give same amount of chances to anyone else they will also eventually rack up a 50 somewhere. Dodda Ganesh's tweet is still stuck in my memory.

I would go jaiswal but it won't go well with the faction of oldies. Jaiswal has that aura about him. I am convinced he will be special. Sundar is too soft. Pant would be good but obviously injured. 

 

Iyer I guess is good but he isnt a good batsman which sucks.
