Australia have bottled another great opportunity to outright win the Ashes in England. They were in a commanding position at Headingley multiple times to make it 3-0 but got complacent and threw the advantage away..

Can't see England losing an oval Test and they might actually win it all.

Oz pitches are flat too. England bowling got better after inclusion of woakes and wood. Plus they have a proper spinner. Oz bowling is one dimensional. Not like they will run through them on day 1.

Oz pitches flat too? Moeen is a proper spinner or Root? Your posts are too funny to be taken seriously. The only reason Aussies are in the ditch is because of their poor batting back to back and terrible tactics combined with beautiful roads that England have laid out.

Labu is a text book example of FTB. Even out of form Warner made 200 against Rabada, Nortje.

Someone was saying last game that Crawley is crap and has no future :cantstop:

it is a very flat pitch, aus bowling is currently weak in this test (no spinner; 2 ARs who are batters first; half fit hazel) and the pitch is flat as heck. crawley will most likely crawl into a hole on spinning tracks in SL, Ind and on the bouncy pitches of SA

No 100 for root

rootus got bored with thrashing this 3rd grade attack. probably got out so that he can go and play against some U13 boys who would pose more of a challenge

stokes does have great captaincy skills, and when he bowled, he was very useful in SC (I remember his spell vs us in ahmedabad). crawley is 1D in comparison

He is not great captain. Tactically very poor in the field.

Crawley has just started his career. Has ability to play big innings even in SC.

he's played 37 tests. that's plenty.

stokes is not a tactical captain. he is a man management + leader type of captain. those ones are valuable too

Zak Crawley made 189 of 182 on a good pitch yet the Eng media knows he is mostly a test player. Now imagine a young Indian test player play like this everyone from media to ex players to tom dick n harry would scream at the top of their lungs to include him in ODIs and T20s..

crawley should actually be playing ODIs (not T20s though). he would be as good, or better than, jason roy

Nah Eng made a drastic change to their white ball set up for a reason and they won't bring in test players (however flashy) to their ODI set up. Root would find his way to any ODI team but not Eng. There's a reason for that..

How much lead will be match winning here ? 150 ? Aussies will be under pressure and even if they manage to score 300, England can back themselves to chase only 150 in the final innings.

aus will likely fold for 230-250. they are mentally weak as heck

crawley has ODI avg of nearly 50 at 115 SR. only 3 games, but it shows that he can translate his game to ODIs
