This series is a good lesson for gora teams from SENA countries to cultivate their spin talent, fast bowlers are awesome but they alone cannot get the job done.

This pitch proves when pitch is flat its on batsmen to bat well. Not bowlers.

India lost the wtc due to inept batting on docile tracks lawl.

Bowling selection was a mistake but then having dravball as coach and ro as captain only seems to further inhibit the team anyway. So it's a lost cause before the game even started.

Tomorrow's forecast is similar, if not worse.  Maybe we will get 20 to 30 overs (max) of play tomorrow.   Not enough to get a result.

Eng's weather is one of the worst regardless of which season it is.     2 out of 5 tests literally being washed out is embarrassing for Ashes in particular and test cricket in general.

They should make it a 8 tests long Ashes especially in England with 50 members/squad

And two reserve days per match.  But you forgot one thing in your hypothetical, need an odd number of matches to get a winner so 9 tests it is.

Hooray for the spirit of cricket.

To me, one of the most annoying aspects of "Bazball" is how they want to try to change the ball every 10 to 15 overs.  Hey fucbois, there's rules about that.

Changed the ball last night and, wow, what a bowling attack.

yeah.  there should be some stricter rules on the ball change

How many times crawley and duckett batted under overcast conditions in series? Almost never.

Its been like Gods have been supporting English. Invariably the sun would come out when their chance to bat came

Other than 4th test conditions, toss went in England's favor whole series.
