Difficult to espouse anything when you barely have any kind of representation. People tend to listen when you work for them. You can work for them only when you have some semblance of power.

 

Inclusivity is not about representation in parliament. Owaisi has been elected for 20 years and old Hyderabad looks like crap. Ofcourse Owaisi knows what his constituency wants.

 

As per exit polls, 76% of muslims have aligned to one party. So, clearly they are getting the political representation. Question is what are they expecting from their representatives. Education, water, employment, equal rights for women. No. They just expect to keep the other side out and "let us be alone". So, if the community keeps itself away from development. Doesn't actually practice democracy or reward the party which provides for them, then the community has no choice but roll in its own c##p. Its unfortunate, but lack of education, lack of aspiration and hyper emotional nature is being used to built a feedback loop that make the community not move but expect stuff. 

 

There needs to be something done about the perennial victim card. But I am afraid this is way beyond logic now. This is about politics and numbers.

BJP wins most seats in India. BJP tried giving seats to Muslims. Muslims themselves don't give votes to BJP Muslim candidates.

 

So it becomes a winability issue. So the BJP doesn't give tickets to Muslims when the community itself doesn't support them.

 

Let us say there is a 70% Muslim seat. BJP gives Muslim candidate.. Muslim largely vote for other parties. So BJP thinks it is better off fielding a candidate from the 30%. Otherwise there is no shortage of potential good nationalist Muslim candidates , people like Arif Mohammad Khan.

Noone will be correct till later. Who knows what sources they have. Btw most of the counting is based on postal ballots as of now. EVM counting will start in earnest after 9am

Lol other than news 24 that Manak Gupta Channel all other channels already showing bjp above 300. Whereas news 24 showing India 265 and nda 245.
