BJP seat got lessened in 2019 only coz BSP and SP were together. You don't realise how powerful that alliance was. Still BJP's vote% went up by 7.35% despite the loss of seats. BJP got 50% votes in 2019 which is insane in a massive state like UP.

 

This time SP and BSP are fighting separately and both are trying to hurt eachother. Also they are spending lesser money this time than last time and focusing more on the 2027 assembly elections.

 

Only way BJP's seats goes down in UP 2024 is if there's significant anti-incumbency against Modi. If not NDA will sweep.

 

Some journos are pushing this narrative that although Modi is popular, people are not happy with the local candidates. As there is no "modi" wave this time, BJP is set to lose seats in UP. How much only time will tell. If Yogi canget re-elected, why would people be unhappy in just 2 years of Yogi rule. If Modi can't deliver UP, Yogi can.

Bundelkhand has been traditionally BJP stronghold...so is Awadh (Central UP). Pratapgarh is an anomaly due to Raghuraj Pratap Singh.

 

West UP will go in BJP's favour as Jayant Chaudhary is in alliance with BJP. Though I don't find Jayant as a capable leader...he still has good name and rapport due to his grandfather's stronghold. Jat voters are likely to favour BJP-RLD alliance.

I reckon Kannauj Mainpuri Firozabad, Unnao, Sambhal Akbarpur Khiri Etah have fallen. Meerut I believe 50-50... (Didn't get enough coverage by local outlets weirdly) only ABP said close fight.

Next phase I am giving Amethi Raibareli Barabanki and Kaushambi (Raja Bhaiyaa effect) to opposition.

 

Opposition is claiming gains/wins in Farrukhabad Amroha & several other seats but I haven't seen any local reports or social dynamics to suggest NDA will lose.

 

I haven't dived enough into Bihar dynamics but will soon.  Tejasvi is more competent than Pappu + Akhilesh

ABP is YoYa 2.0. Last time, they gave 33 to NDA. In Exit polls mind you, not in opinion polls. That's how much bad they are. Everybody else have 60+ to NDA in exit polls.

Last time the chamcha journos were actually giving just 20-30 seats to BJP and saying that BSP-SP combine will sweep UP. BJP got 62. 

This time they are giving around 50 to BJP. So Apne hisaab se bada lo 50 ke upar...

For me, 2019 results against combined alliance of opposition was the litmus test. They won over 50% votes in almost 70% of seats. So they have to lose atleast 10-15 % in each seat to loose this one. Don't see it happening.

There are no exit polls available since polling has begun.

Opinion polls were taking long while back.

So ground reporting is only source which people have to base something on.  Nothing is concrete obviously.  But AC room Noida journos should never be believed.

YoYo Anjana OM, Sudhir Tihadi , Arnab Sandeep Chaudhary, Rajdeep Kanwal all should be taken seriously with more than a pinch of salt.

Undercurrent is hard to predict for even pollsters

I meant to say they gave 33  to NDA in 2019. All exit poll data that I quoted was from 2019

Such a rubbish reply to an honest question. She is trying to save face by smirking reply because she is fully aware that the common man is screwed and she probably doesn't care. She must go. Modiji should politely tell her she is not entitled to get posts like finance minsister, defence minister, etc. She is utterly imcompetent and looks like her family is pessimistic of BJP's chances of winning when even the opposition have given up mentally. Better give her pension so that her boomer self can retire aaram se unlike gen x and later generations
