Nikhil_cric
Umran will leak runs like a broken tap. Express pace is useless with his poor control of line. That said, youngsters missing this CWC are lucky. They won't get blamed for the thrashing that we are going to get. I really hope we don't even make the semis and get smashed thrice by Pakistan in the Asia Cup as well. Only if fans stop caring might the BCCI be forced into action. Frustrated 1 Link to comment

Possibly..but Yash don't bring the ball in to the right handers by much. Mukesh Choudhary swing in big and he's faster than Yash, but I guess he is still injured. Link to comment

Umran has a fairly good control of his line, his problem is length as he is advised to stay on the shorter side and bowl like an enforcer..which doesn't come naturally to him as he is not very tall. He should be advised to bowl good length so that his deliveries end at the stumps. He doesn't get much movement so his maximum chances to get wickets are through LBW and bowled. express bowling, Vk1 and Mosher 3 Link to comment

express bowling
Prasidh Krishna regularly hitting 144k to 146 k today. While bowling in good areas, generating steep bounce and moving the ball. Saw both outswing and seam movement both ways. All 4 boxes ticked. Mosher, Vk1 and singhvivek141 3 Link to comment
figo6762
The concept of hurry is relative , I would think … the relative sense of motion is what makes batsman not to react … so change in pace with shuttle change in action can expressed as hurry up factor .. I don’t think it is the absolute max speed .. which needs to in 140s for sure .. Link to comment

If a pacer has to hurry batters consistently then he needs either high release speeds or zip off the deck and preferably both. A change in pace may deceive and hurry a batter occasionally or from time to time but not consistently. Mosher 1 Link to comment
express bowling
IMHO India should focus on these 12 pacers for the present and near future. There are quick bowlers, bounce bowlers, swing bowlers, seam bowlers, bowling allrounders and left armers in this pool. Playing for India .. Bumrah .. high pace, bounce, seam, swing, accuracy, yorkers, Siraj .. pace, seam, swing, bounce Prasidh .. pace, steep bounce, tall, seam, swing Next in line .. Kartik Tyagi .. high pace, steep bounce, tall, seam, swing, yorkers Harshit Rana .. high pace, steep bounce, tall, movement, can bat Mayank Yadav .. high pace, steep bounce, tall, seam, accuracy Kuldeep Sen .. high pace, steep bounce, tall, movement, Umran .. really high pace, skid off the deck After that .. Hangargekar .. pace, bounce, seam, swing, can bat Mohsin .. pace, steep bounce, tall, swing, seam, accuracy, left armer, can bat Simarjeet .. classic swing, pace, bounce Mukesh Chaudhary ( not Kumar ) .. classic swing, skid off the deck, left armer Tyagi's skillsets are closest to lead pacer Bumrah provided he gets his line right. Plus except Kuldeep Sen, Mukesh Choudhary & Simarjeet....rest all are under 25 years of age as well. So they are quite young and hence developing them early will help us create a formidable bowling attack for next 10-12 years Mosher and express bowling 2 Link to comment

This year he is injured, maybe in the upcoming domestic season we can see hin playing (unlike other quicks he doesn't post much on Insta to tough to know the status of his injury).
