Tomorrow is the last day for athletics. India has 3 medal chances .. Bains in 800m and 1-2 in Mens Javelin. No medal chances in High Jump and a small chance in Women's triple jump

Hopefully we see improvement in 100 - 200m Sprint events in next time at Asian level.

We can catch up I am sure in immediate future.

We should hire one of those sprint coaches from the Caribbean or North America. The slave blood isn't there but we can still make lemonade.

Tomorrow potential medals

Compound Archery Mixed team should medal tomorrow. Hopefully gold given the form of Vennam and Ojas. Ojas was perfect in 2 matches to reach to final in the individuals.

Recurve Mixed team is also in the QFs.. but we have been disappointed enough by them to know they are not a sure thing.

Squash (Hopefully we don't win any of these as that would mean they get to the finals)

Mens semifinals

Mixed team semifinals x 2

Athletics

Mens Javelin - potential for 1-2 with Neeraj and Jena

Womens 800m - Bains & Harmilan could win silver/bronze

35 km mixed team walk - there are only 5 teams - so India could win a surprise medal here

Mens 5000m - Avinash Sable could medal here hopefully. Is in great form

4x400m Womens - unlikely medal - maybe bronze

4x400m Mens - Not winning gold will be disappointing

Boxing

Parveen Hooda in the semifinals. Hope she wins to get final.. but likely bronze

Bridge

Mens team - Gold/Silver

Wrestling (Greco-Roman)

Hopefully a couple here - although not our strong suite. Haven't won a medal in a while

Expected gold or 2 at least in boxing so it's been disappointing so far.

Wanted Neeraj to own him badly again. We have been hammering Pak in all sports.

Yeah all that theater it was worth it...  Knee injury could be catastrophic for Arshad & Pak keeping Paris in mind.

Seen Chinese guy winning 100m sprint this Asian Games ...  Better coaching & facilities can do wonders

@Gollum will we win the gold for chess?

Men's team is in first position and women's in second. Still a few. Rounds to go though. Tomorrow will be important to decide the men's team's fate. They play China. Women's team lost to China.

Arshad Nadeem pulls out of the Asian games due to a bad knee. Should clear the way for Neeraj to win.

neeraj would have won anyway. clears the way for jena to get silver.

Compound Archers on target. Get through a persistent Malaysia to reach the SF. That was a tough game that went till the last series where the Malay lady succumbed to pressure and messed up her last shot.
