So, the last event for the day shortly will be Badminton Men Double Semifinal.

Chirag/Satwik - World No. 3 should win it and book place for a historic GOLD Medal match.

The opponents are also very very good. Malaysian Pair Chia Soh. They have good record against Satvik Chirag.

They are #6.

Not much difference there.

Should be end of the road for Bajrang... Time to look at the future.  Knowing federation they would give him Paris as well which would be a waste.  He is clearly past it

Public opinion is bad

Missed action because I was in a meeting, We hammered Pak in kabaddi :isalute:

And have to watch the hockey highlights. Nothing else in Indian sports gives me as much joy as India doing well in hockey. Last couple of months we have been thrashing the other Asian countries so bad, we are coming for goras next year in Paris :aha:

Chirag satwik running away with game 1...17-12

Is it a best of 5 or 3? I I don't think 5 is ever played in Badminton. It is damn tiring to cover the court for so long

One more clutch singles player and we will be unbeatable at the Thomas cup. Need one more doubles pair also as a backup to these guys.

Women's game is concerning though. Sindhu has 0 successors. Hopefully someone comes up soon.
