Jaddu as ODI all rounder

Bowlers can work on their hitting. That is easier. Turning batters into genuine 5th/6th bowling option is harder.   

 

Once this toxic generation of Kohli/Rohit/Jaddu are thrown out, we can only hope that the next guys are more willing to embrace risk and play aggressively and double up as part time spinners etc.

Apparently, Jadeja was batting with Kohli in the NCA. Possibly trying Jadeja as #4.  This guy has only played 9 ODI's since 2021 with an average of 37.25 and a strike rate of 59. 

 

This fraud will play at 4?   

 

Even that average is fraudulent. He has scored only 149 runs in 8 innings. 4 not outs. 

 

Bowling wise, he has taken 6 wickets in these matches and bowled a total of 45 overs.  Absolute fraud cricketer in this format.

People in India & media call him legend...  His wife has a BJP ticket which adds to his stature..  Plus gujju quota.  So called Best All rounder even better than clutch af Stokes or Shakib. 

I would not name him in top 50 LOI cricketers in India.

In ODIs, Shakib is easily the best all rounder of this generation.

If MSD will give a call, Dravid will play Jaddu even as an opener alongside Rohit. Everything is irrelevant then.

 

Jokes aside, I think as India's batting is again Right hand dominant, they're exploring an option to fit in Jaddu at no 4 as he is the only left hander in the squad (Tilak is there but I don't see him in the XI).

They tried the same with Axar last year but it backfired, this time they think Jaddu will perform like Yuvraj with bat and ball.

We have Pandya for that, though Pandya v Thakur can be a debate.

thats also because of Tests and CSK hype.
