They missed out in 2003 as they didn't go to Kenya to play their league game and lost point there (and in super six as well).

 

Consistent performers in ODI cricket.

 

What are their chances this time around?

Semifinals if they are lucky. They have a terrible record in India and Bracewell being out will hurt their combinations. 

 

Might reach finals if they play us in the semis though.  

 

Won't win the cup.

Kane is also unlikely.

 

Losing to UAE shows their current form.

Losing Kane won't affect the balance of their side much.  Also, he was batting terrible. They have more aggressive options now.

Kane's captaincy will be missed. Took them to almost a WC win last time.

His captaincy in the final was questionable. He gave Santner only 3 overs and bowled the likes of Neesham and Boult in particular who was choking. And then gave the Super Over to the worst bowler of the day, Boult.

They will participate as usual to be defeated by a Stronger side in either the Semis or Finals and win the consolation prize for being the Most Sporting team of the tournament. It's always like that for NZ, never a contender for the tournament.

none of those are terrible calls. Santner didn't bowl much due to left hander Stokes being there. Boult was also their most experienced bowler in absence of Southee so got death overs and super over. A finger spinner would have been smacked and game would've finished early.

they did win 2000 Knockouts. India choked and Cairns did a Stokes

They will beat Ind for sure and again get hammered by Pak.

They have a pretty balanced side to be honest. I won't bet against them not reaching SFs.

Pretty much this, will perform at 300% against us and then bend over as usual against Pakistan. They may even bend over against Lanka, Bangladesh,Afg. Beating India will be their only goal.

Bangla, Ned, Pakistan will beat BCCI XI. I feel for the fans who are queuing up to buy the tickets which are are mismanaged as usual by IPL Chors. Besharam Lolhi, Chhapri and co.will laugh off the embarassment of losing in home game.

Ganguly choked. Got SRT and Dravid run out. Then Prasad was bowling an exceptional line and length and would've got a 3rd wicket had Dravid not been so far deep in slips(Blame Dahiya for that).  And then Ganguly once again choked when Agarkar got Cairns to play a false shot and he would've been out had Dada been at the edge of the circle. 

 

We choke a lot vs NZ. Even in the 2019 SF. The number of overthrows and missed chances was mind blowing.
