What the heck were those Star Sports videos about the India practice camp in Bangalore? What the hell were those coaches and those bat-wielding morons doing for a whole freaking week? They brought in these left-handed pacers and seamers, hyped up some special training to counter Pakistani bowlers, and what? It was all just a big damn show for social media clout!
 

If they can't even survive a lousy five overs, what's the point of sticking with these idiots? Winning any major ICC cricket tournaments? Forget about it! It's like a pipe dream as long as we keep these numbskulls on the team.

Btw, Who would you choose as their replacements?

Thakur is in mainly to have an "elongated"  look to batting. Everyone knows Shami is a better bowler with great strike rate. Even the washed up Shami.

We desperately need Yashaswi Jaiswal and Tilak Verma in the odi team if we are to have any chance of not getting humiliated at a home world cup. Rohit and Kohli may do well against bottom tier sides, but they'll do diddly squat against better sides. We'll be 50/3 more often than not in the world cup..

 

In an ideal world where BCCI and the TM were even remotely competent, we'd be playing with the below XI...

Even if these 3 are replaced, we are not going to win any major tournament.  

 

Coz there is another overrated/overhyped/overpaid opening batsman who was hyped to the moon by many.  He also needs to be replaced immediately.   Yes, it's Zim Gill....who has made an Odi career by scoring >50% of his runs against Zim. LOL.  And on top of that, has a worse body language (than even Kela) while facing a decent bowling attack.

Don't be deliberately obtuse. The lineup would be Jaiswal, Abhishek, Gill/Samson, Pant, Rinku, Parag then. SKY is a minnow and bi-lateral basher and Dube is the IPL quota from the Big 3 - MI, CSK, RCB.
