Cricket has become so much fun with India being such a strong team and Pak being so weak - twin joys

 

Had a lot of fun last year during Asia Cup, Asian Games, World Cup etc.

 

This year during the World Cup and now Ind-NZ and Pak-Eng will happen simultaneously.

So looks like "King" Babar, Shaheen "India can't play him" Afridi, and Naseem "Marshall + Lillee " Shah have been dropped from the team

These 2 are the most overrated duo ever in the Pakistani bowling history. 

Even the much maligned Aizaz Cheema & Wahab Riaz are better than these 2.

 

Aamir Jamal is good bowler, Mir Hamza is another one who is decent enough. I am sure they will have some decentish bowlers in their domestics who are ready to toil and bowl long spells.

Haven't done a thing and the hype around them is as if they've won all over the world. Average in 30s and 40s but somehow are the "best bowling attack" in the world

That was mostly due to toss and dew but also us carrying dead weights. Look at the T20 team after the seniors are disposed off. And we won the recent WT20 not because of but despite the seniors. Bumrah carried them across the line but thankfully we're past that sorry chapter. And hope selectors do the same in ODIs as well. We don't need seniors. We need impact.

Yup, zero multi-dimensional players, top heavy team with batters who couldn't bowl and who failed to show up in big matches, and 5 bowlers who couldn't hold a bat. Plus Jaddu the fake T20 all-rounder as cherry on top.

Got to give credit to Pak selectors for having the guts to drop Babar and Shaheen. Both were underperforming for a while and deserved to be dropped. Our selectors never had the guts to drop Kohli when he should have been.
