What's his pace like ?

He got injured right after WC, quickest of the lot was Hanga

Who clocked 140+,141 to be precise

Bawa was around 130+,135 on real effort

He certainly can add pace, but as of now he isn't

Which is not a problem, his batting compensates for that

There was a keeper also in that u19 team some Bana he played hood attacking inning in final while chasing. That guys is also someone to watch out for.

How good is Atit Sheth ? Has had a good SMAT and has played A team cricket.

Can he play ODIs? We need to looking at pace bowling all rounders. He does not seem like someone who can score quick runs at no 7 or 8 just from looking at strike rate

he was more than 135 in peak speed. avg speed was mid 130s. Amby was impressed with his pace. I posted an article on it earlier in the other (Speeds) thread. I have enclosed it below:

Bawa clocked 130 k to 139 k with bounce. But looked quicker.

Bowling is potentially better than Hardik. At such a young age, he could bowl in good areas with zip off the deck.

Batting is unknown.

From whatever little I have seen, Atit Sheth may end up being a bits snd pieces cricketer at international level.

Neither a strike bowler nor a proper batsman.

Haven't seen Gurnoor bowl much. Only a few overs.

And haven't seen him bat.

But he is a candidate for a bowling allrounder if he turns out to be good with the ball.

He is very tall, bouncy and fast-medium. But don't know much about his accuracy and movement.

May be Harshit Rana can be groomed as AR..basically 2 bowling ARS and 2 batting ARs..we can explore if we dont get a replacement of Pandya..

but when I say bolwing AR--means bowling must be penetrative..and similarly batting be proper for batting AR..

A complete AR..esp the one who does pace bowling..will be at injury risk many times..as the demands will be a lot mentally and physically..

so lest say if Jadeja is bwoling AR .then we need one of the pacers to have some decent batting ability..like a bankable 20s Avg..good strike rate..

similarly we may need 2 batters to bowl as well..decent spin..to cover for someones' onjury or bad day..

Batter

Batter+ wk

spin bowling AR(for Indian subcon)\pace bowling AR(for SENA)

pace bowling AR

wrist spinner

need to groom players for thsi combo..

Let me try to create a team for ODI's (I'm assuming here that Rohit, Kohli, Jadeja, Ashwin either won't play ODI's or will play sporadically).

1. Jaiswal (Batting AR)

2. Gill (batter)

3. Sai / Gaekwad / Shreyas(batter)

4. Abhishek/Tilak (Batting AR)

5. Rinku/Abhinav M/ SKY (batter + finisher)

6. Pant/Rahul/Kishan (batter + wk)

7. Washington (spin AR)/ Bawa (pace AR)

8. Harshit/Yudhvir/Gurnoor (bowl pace AR)

9. Bishnoi/Kuldeep/R Chahar (wrist spinner)

10. Tyagi/Mayank/Prasidh (one newbie)

11. Shami/Siraj/Bumrah (one senior pacer)

Down the lane..hopefully Prasidh will graduate to senior Pacer & replace Shami. While Umran may break in at no 10.

There are some insta videos of his batting. Not much feet movement, but has range & power to go downtown.

This won't be enough for judging..but on high level does show he gets movement of the deck as well. Control obviously we can't say from these limited snaps.

he is a swing bowler. better than boobi for traditional (not the new) eng/NZ type pitches. better bat than boobi, can easily play at 8.

overall, not a good fit for most pitches
