gakgupta Posted October 22, 2023 Posted October 22, 2023 Would the results be same ... if the games are spread across India, srilanka, Bangladesh and pakistan?? Isn't it a home world cup for them, as well?? I certainly think, one more subcontinent tema would be a front runner for semi spot...if games are spread across.... Esp srilanka is a very potent tema in home conditions and they have a good team for home conditions and same is with bangla
cricspirit Posted October 22, 2023 Posted October 22, 2023 India is a subcontinent by itself. We don't need to share with anyone to host it. Norman, velu and TheWall 3

bsriharsha Posted October 22, 2023 Posted October 22, 2023 Srilanka / Bangladesh / Pakistan combined can probably host one world cup... Or atleast bid for that world cup.

Bilateral performances mean squat when every other team is giving chances to youngsters and fine tuning tactics etc. The standard of cricket in SL has dipped massively. Bangladesh if they hold their nerve and don't get over excitable are probably the second best Asian team right now
gakgupta Posted October 22, 2023 Author Posted October 22, 2023 In 2011..matches were held on Bangla, india and srilanka Earlier to that.... Pakistan also hosted
gakgupta Posted October 22, 2023 Author Posted October 22, 2023 When the world cup happens in Australia... some matches happen in NZ as well

I think the srilankan cricketers got attacked in 2009 and there were major valid concerns on player safety. 2023 is the first world cup to be entirely hosted by India.

figo6762 Posted October 22, 2023 Posted October 22, 2023 Why …. Srilanka has ground in the middle of jungle with no hotels … the other stadium is fort where it rains all the time , the other stadium is Colombo , and that looks old as **** .. bangala .. let’s not go there Pakistani… How do you expect players to play with the threat of their security …
