In a way, they hv almost achieved what Kenya did in 2003.  Afghan hv defeated Eng, Pak and SL.  We hv to keep in mind that Kenya did not reach the semis of 2003WC by merit.  NZ did not travel to Kenya and hence forfeited 2 points which helped Kenya reach SF.

Technically, Afghanis can make it to Semis as well. I believe now they must be thinking that they shouldnt have lost to Bongs.

Yes.  They must be kicking themselves for losing to toygers (easily the worst team in this WC).  Their next 2 games are very tough.   Aus & SA

Can they get to semis?  The problem is they are playing at Mumbai and Modi stadium.Both those venues don't support their spinners.

Modi stadium suits them alright... They could trouble Saffers there.  It turned in the game against Pak
