Mayank is special. He is pretty accurate while bowling express pace. His stock delivery is the incoming delivery, have to see if he can bowl the one that holds its line. He has got a good bouncer, decent slower one and yorker. Most ready among the 3 express fast bowlers.

Tyagi is another exciting talent with all the skills but like @express bowling said needs a FC season to work on his bowling especially his issue with giving width. Work on getting more accurate.

Umran has regressed. He needs to get back to bowling quick and at the stumps. He needs to understand that without pace he looks ordinary. Just bowling 140 at his height won't cut it and he has get back to bowling 150+ rockets directed at stumps like we saw in his 1st ipl season.

Umran's performance has been oscillating a lot, at times I felt he is just struggling to find what works for him. He is accurate, he is fast and he attacks the stumps..but for some reason he was trying to bowl like Praisdh because his captain wanted him to. However, as the SMAT progressed he settled into his role, I was satisfied with his bowling in last 2 games. Looked like the Umran of 2022.

Tyagi's journey was marred with injuries from last 2 years, but despite of that fact he has upped his pace (he was a 140kph bowler in 2020). This season he was an honest trier, bowled fast. At times erratic, at times unlucky due to catch drops, but when radar is right he is unplayable. He need to learn to come close to stumps and that's it..he has everything else working for him. Should really play VHT & FC this year.

Many times people have commented, if we can mix line of Umran & length of Tyagi..we will get a perfect bowler. Tbh, that is Mayank, fast fierce pace, superb accuracy, repeatable action and consistently moving the ball into the batters. He looks most ready of all 3 quicks and can be immediately brought into the side, have to see his yorker bowling ability but looks like someone who is already ahead of his age group.

My verdict

Draft Mayank immediately.

Include Tyagi first in longer format, provide him a coach who can work with him and understand fast bowling.

Umran should be looked into ODI's, T20's is still tough for him. Use him like Shami, don't try to make Prasidh or Tyagi out of him.

Excellent observations bros  !

Any more names? How are Hangargekar, Bawa developing?

My pool of promising quicks in the order of readiness are ...

□  Prasidh Krishna

□  Mayank Yadav

□  Kuldeep Sen

□  Harshit Rana

□  Kartik.Tyagi

□  Yudhvir Singh Charak

□  Umran Malik .. can go up very fast in the list if he attacks the stumps at pace

□  Raj Hangargekar .. was ahead but poor SMAT

Raj Bawa is coming back from injury and we have to see where he stands.

Have you watched him bowl and what are your observations ?

Have not seen him much, but as mentioned V.accurate amongst Ind fast bowling stock. Cleanest action in Ind

Has v lethal yorkers (at the root of the wkts - Do not think many are doing that rt now) and bouncers. Not so sure of test lengths. But does not lose pace at any lenght.

Think he is role player in Delhi team, bowl fast (head and toe thing), though high arm I think he could develop reverse.  If handled properly he is a real deal.

With T20, I have been hearing batters finds it hard when a bowler has a change to the subtle action.

Good write-up.

Want to watch Mayank in FC cricket. He looks like a thinking bowler.

Mayank Yadav of Delhi clocked 155...looked really fast, hostile & fierce. Always had a good action, but surprised everyone today with the extra pace as all thought him as a 138-148 pacer.

Go through the pages, he was sensational today.

Do post videos.

Mohsin looks like a shadow of his 2022 IPL.self after his arm surgery. Often bowling 123 k tk 127 k.

Mukesh Chaudhary is injured too and don't know where he stands. Still not playing despite a long break.

Khaleel looks disinterested about going to the next level.
