Shami bhai sounds like KRK. Very entertaining interview though from some snippets I watched.

• Grew up in village life Sahaspur
• Didn't get selected for UP age teams, (highlights how Shami would not have made it through if he hadn't moved to anothe place) then moved Calcultta to play club cricket
• Love for Biryani
• Played through knee pain and inflammation during 2015 WC, after each game would go to hospital, get fluids drawn out of knee and given steroids, had knee operation after the WC
• Simple but effective mantra :   seam movement and pitching in danger zone on the pitch

Cricket aside, Hearing to Shami in that interview, All I can say is He is a very genuine, and nice person.

goes to show politics in Indian cricket, he tried his best for 3 years to play for UP and he does not get selected to play for UP but plays for Bengal and then beats SIRAJ and 

BUMRAH and various other fast bowlers to become the most wicket taking pacer in any format....

 

kind of a must-bowler in all the 3 forms on merit for India, if he is fully fit.
