Exactly. It is very hard to break into the side without additional skills. If Pant is not fit anytime soon he is a viable option. I don't trust Kishan the batsman in Tests. His wafty technique will result inconsistent output.

I have been following him for a while. Most interesting thing about him is he stepped up whenever team needed. With DK/Jagadeesan being available as keeper finding a spot even in TN XI requires some taking. You are right. He is pure eye test batsed selection even for the state side. His father has found a cricket academy in Tiruppur which is known for manufacturing export quality T shirt. It is knitware capital of India. Most of the branded t shirt we buy in US were made there.  Other than  there is nothing. So i am kinda surprised he managed to break into TN side from that part of the state. SOmeone has seen talent in this guy.

Saurabh is good but his batting isn't good enough for no 7..more like a no 8.

Sundar is a good option, else go with wildcard Bawa or Nishant Sindhu.

My lineup is something we can implement even in this series or the next if we want. Not a wishlist for the future. Harshit is with the A team and can be easily brought in if he performs. 

 

Going forward I want Mayank Yadav and Tyagi coming in along with maybe Axar.
