It evens out.  SA also whitewashed us 3-0 in Jan 2022.    Overall in ODIs, the head to head wins stands at : 40(Ind) vs 51 (SA)     After today's game

india in saf have been very poor 12 wins out of 31 ...7 of them coming in 2017/18 and this series.. 1 in 2003 wc. So basically india won only 4 odis in bilaterals between 1992 to 2017 which indeed is a disgrace.  Out of the 4 wins one was won by nehra batting at 11 and winning the game for us. One where saf choked and munaf took 4 wickets ( they needed 2 runs in 60 odd balls with 3 wickets in hand)..

Wr should have won the series in 2011 odi. We lost 3 -2 but we should have won that one.

Lol at Shaun Pollack and rest of sa commentry team.

Biased tightwads, but then we have our own set of brown nosing jerks too :dontknow: .
Part of me chuckles away to glory when one of our own motormouths squares off against a motormouth from SA. The crap piles up as high as Table mountain.

Tbf haysman isn't bad. He glorifies whom he likes.

Also polly isn't bad either. You should see deep dash. He will cry if someone scores a 4 lol against us.

They are biased but they like specific players like bumrah, shami, arshdeep now lol and they love pant etc.

India didn't play SA in 2003 World Cup.

12 wins were

2 in 92/93 series

1 in 2001/02 tri series

2 in 2010/11 series

5 in 2017/18 series

2 in this series

Easy on the commentator bashing folks. Most biased are the Indian clowns...Gavaskar, Chopra, Deep Dasgupta, DK, Murali K etc. Watched the WC coverage where they elevated Kohli to the status of Brahma/Vishnu/Shiva? Bakwaskar was literally crying when Head was pelaoing us in the final.

Scummiest lot have always been Indian/Bangladeshi commentators/analysts...even someone like Mayanti can't pretend to stay neutral. Same I see in chess coverage also, Tania Sachdev has cried live on stream when Vishy was once losing to Carlsen, and other commentators had to mollycoddle her. Effect of zero sports culture in India.

Remember how they sidelined Bhogle due to Dhoni's complaint, **** like that doesn't happen in SENA countries, that's for sure.

RSA umpires may be scummy, but remember suparpawaaa India's glorious contribution to the field of umpiring? Not one half decent one since Venkat's retirement. Heck Pak and SL have better legacy when it compares to producing world class umpires.

World's richest board, biggest domestic cricket scene, one sport country, yet why can't we pull our weight in producing umpires. Genes don't play a role there, or high living standards, nutrition etc. What exactly is India's contribution to the sport except its population. Where is the quality?

one of Nitin menon or Anil Chowdhury should hopefully be on par with Venky at least by the time they retire, if not Simon taufel or David Shephard. Like our sportsmen, our umpires also suffer from a lack of confidence on the big stage and lack personality. I see it in the likes of Ananta Padmanabhan, Madanagopal, Virendra Sharma who are umpiring equivalents of M Karthik and Deep Dasgupta.

Dear Agarkar and selectors-

3rd odi-

  1. Mukesh- 9 overs 56 runs and  1 wicket..his only wicket in the ODI series in AFRICA.
  2. sardar arshdeep- 9 -30- 4 wickets
  3. avesh- 8-45- 2 wickets

Arshdeep got 10 wickets with a fifer in 1 odi and 4 wickets in third odi and 1 wicket in one odi...winning 2 games with his bowling and ine one , he was a little less impressive and India lost that Match. Immaculate Line & length - he should be asked to stay put with the test team as he is more accurate than Prasidh though a little inferior to Prasidh/Boom /Siraj but he is definitely India's 4th pacer if Shammi is Unfit. on a green track, India may need 4 pacers to be in the 11. Not even 1 % of cricketers will select Mukesh Kumar ahead of ARSH as of today. he swings, has a good bouncer and has yorker- his pace is a lil down but can bowl 130 to 142k, he is a left arm pacer.

Avesh got 6 wickets and could have gotten more , some easy catches were missed off his bowling - got 4 in one and won the game and 2 in third odi..impressive bowling though speedometers showed him 130-141k only, i would have preferred him a little faster but i found his 135K ball also pushing the batsman and scaring him , he bowls some heavy balls.

mukesh is no swing king like bhuvi or Deepak chahar;  he is no fast bowler like umran, he does not have height like prasidh and get good bounce , his seam is not so straight like Shammi , he is not like BOOM who has a different complicated action - then why him?
