This used to be a place to talk cricket a few years ago. Now it's full of frustrated uncles, and not fans. 

People here have rooted for Rohit, Kohli, SKY, Hardik, Jadeja, many more (including Krishna). Many of these players have performed decently in one format or another. They got praised when they performed and flogged when they didn't.

The difference with Prasidh is that he has consistently lacked application across formats. As anyone who has played even a few games of club cricket can see, he is all over the place with his line and length across formats and venues.

I will be overjoyed if he performs and shuts his critics (including me) down.

Bowlers like Krishna are dime a dozen in many countries. I highly doubt this guy will take more than 50 test wickets.I never rated this guy high.

I am not judging him on this match. I have seen him enough.

 

Jaidev took more than decade to play his second test.Was it all his fault that India stunk in his debut test.

Some geniuses were talking as if he is second coming of McGrath. He gets bounce, pace and what not. This guys has trouble landing ball in same area even twice per over.

 

He is not some teenager who needs some seasoning, look at the SA debutants who are around his age and the control they had in this match,

We have three fast bowlers who are worse than McGrath with bat other than Bumrah none of them are good enough bowlers.

 

Siraj’s useful shelf life is also over.Bumrah cannot handle the load on his own.

A player can afford to be a horrible fielder and horrible batsman only if he is a gun bowler. Prasidh and SIraj are not.  India needs swing bowling all rounders. Heck even Bhuvi would have been more threatening.
