tapandrun Posted May 24 Posted May 24 Think couple of yrs back mi started to refresh their team but backed out of the plans, they now have not jst 1-2 washed out player their entire team is washed-out . You can have 1-2 such player who are good bang for the buck, but can not create a core out of such players. the idea was right behind the team composition but the game has moved too far ahead, specially batting and MI is playing on easy 230 ground. They have batters like rohit, Dhir, Out of form Sky, out of Pandaya <-- can this unit constantly score 235+ be it scoring or chasing game after game <-- NO. They need to refresh their side get some wkt takers , get batters like Priyash/Abhishek/ Vaibhav... Mariyam 1
Vickydev Posted May 24 Posted May 24 MI's advantage in scouting has totally dissapeared. Earlier they were clearly the best in the country in the early to mid 2010s but with IPL expansion and greater professionalism others have caught up. Now they just being through mediocre domestic talent
