Reckon Shaheen Naseem/Amir Abbas Afridi is best possible pace attack for them..  Abbas Afridi looks impressive.  Peak speed around 135-140 with high arm action & has slower balls of variety. 

 

But watch Pakistan play usual suspects like Amir Shaheen Naseem/Rauf over him vs India. 

Imad 's bowling has declined but his batting maybe upgrade over match winner Nawaz. 

 

Niazi is one to watch out for...  But he may be benched to include Agha Salman. 

Chacha Chucker is utility so he will be there to chuck a few.

Abbas is a backup in case Rauf doesn't get fit in time.  Apart from that, only 2 spots are in question - and that's in the lower middle order . Chacha, Imad and Shadab are confirmed. Azam and Niazi look the biggest contenders but I suspect only 1 of them will make it and their selectors will throw in someone else (Jamal maybe ) just to balance the squad out.

an army which has lost 4 wars badly cant be the beacon of quality- this is the result you get

But in Pak's history text book, it has been mentioned that they hv won all 4 wars comfortably.

They will probably select World cup squad soon which will be the one to face England in May. 

So technically this is the last series for them to try out combination. 

Azam looks done and dusted... Don't see him recovering in time.. As he missed this series. 

Niazi is ahead I reckon. 

Abbas Afridi is a dark horse contender..  For playing XI...  He is the only pacer suitable for Caribbean pitches for them. 

Spin attack is rubbish.

Yep. They'll have to take World Cup squad to England . No other choice. 

 

It does look like they'll pick Niazi . Not sure about the last spot 

 

Abrar looked decent.  And no matter how good/bad Shadab and Imad are , Kohli will still struggle against them.

True. India has the most the un-watchable T20 team.. These bilaterals don't matter much, Pakistan will comfortably smash NZ when the real tournament starts.

It's actually less to do with PAK and more to do with how strong NZ are.

NZ-every player is multi-skilled and both skills are v.good. 

 

Mitchell plays as anchor who could start hitting , can hit both spinners and faster bowlers. When needed can bowl couple of overs

Conway is an opener and a good wk

Phillips a lower order hitter, top fielder, wk and can bowl off spinners

Previously they were good as a team, but now playing more leagues they are becoming v.good as individual players too.

 

Ind is least exciting t20 team, can be put under pressure in ICC events v.easily.

Pak team was in peak form in 2022 in T20s..  Reached final of Asia Cup also I guess Won tri series in NZ. 

This time they are on a losing spree across formats since last year's Asia Cup.  As much bad as India are I don't see enough skill and Talent in Pak side.. And they don't seem to be united as well. 

A team past its best days.  Most Pak sides don't have enough milege in them.  2-3 years max warranty unit that needs to be replaced.

Well said. But the sad part is that we actually have better options but the "star" culture is a blocker for us. Instead of giving likes of Abhishek and Jaiswal a go, we go with Kohli, Rohit and Rahul
