Where are the bowlers ?

I was away for few days due to family emergency.

looking at the squad selection the bowling looks very weak. Too many expectations put on KulCha.

Kuldeep played in 2023 World Cup as leading spinner but had zero impact. Chahal’s selection over Bishnoi is idiotic.

Fast bowling why Siraj and Arshdeep. Have they seen Siraj bowl recently and he is choker under pressure just like his bowling mate.

Glad that guys like Abhishek and Parag are not selected. Rinku is an excess and Dube with his bowling is a better option.

India  have won all their trophies due to bowlers doing well from 1983 to CT 2013.

Hope all is well now with family.

Selection is again a mess. It's more on the names rather than performance.

Pandya, Siraj with his current form is a concern, Jadeja & Axar can't play together. Chahal will not play mostly and Arshdeep is a hit n miss.

It's all about Kuldeep & Bumrah to perform. We are banking on them again and just hoping others to assist.

Thank you.Everything is fine now.

Mayank being injury prone has not helped either , selectors have to inject one or two youngsters in every World Cup. That is what has been lacking in last few years.

Youngsters don’t carry the baggage of past failures in important knock out matches.

So many games wasted on Mukesh in the lead up, 14 T20Is and he isn't in the reserve list also. Dravid sucks at planning.

So Chahal is going to be part of the playing XI lol Rinku sacrificial goat.

Rinku loses out to Chahal

As reported here, the last spot in India's 15-man squad for the 2024 T20 World Cup came down to a choice between Rinku Singh and a back-up bowler. It must have been a tough decision to omit Rinku because India need an in-form hitter of high pace in the middle- and lower-middle order, and he has been exceptional in the opportunities he has got for India. To pick him, though, India's selectors would have had to go without a specialist bowler among the back-ups. Eventually, they went with a second wristspinner in Yuzvendra Chahal instead of a fourth fast bowler in Avesh Khan. It seems like a specific selection for sides against whom India can play two wristspinners.

Absolutely what was the point of playing a 30 year old if he is not in your immediate scheme of things
