I will only clarify as my name is mentioned. I explained the voter ID process to Revi and a discussion of voter fraud case vs voter intimidation. Both are conspiracy theories imo. He mentioned that it is like the EVM issue in India. I presume it was about opposition blaming EVMs when they lose and are happy with it when they win.

 

I am lost on this comparison of Indian voter ID vs US in my exchanges.  
 

India has fixed its large scale paper ballot issues with EVMs and it has worked well in the last 2.5  decades. Results come out in a day, no counting issues like in US. Even in a state, each county can commission its own voting and counting rules. It is so archaic. Back in 2000, it was an issue if pregnant chads had to be counted or not. GWB first term was won on preganant chads not getting counted. He won FL by 500 votes in court.

my question to him was why was he bringing in Indian voting system, where ID is MANDATORY, when that is the point we are laughing at the inferior US system for ? his response is that answer is meant for you, so the question only can come from you as a serial dodge. lol.

This has always been the case for decades. PRogressives mostly live in urban area. Conservaitves live in rural area. Conservatives selling points align with them.  "Democrats will take away your guns" "Abortion rights" "REligion".

trump got RECORD number of immigrant votes - highest ever vote share for a republican from Indo-Americans and Latinos. He ALSO increased his vote-share from last time from women. So this map is all over the place if you look closely, because when the immigrants ditch the dem party in record numbers, the maps look weird.

Long Island is a Trump country. NY state is blue mainly because of other NYC Burroughs . NJ is a lot close 51.x to 46,. , it will soon be a swing state!
