This is the thread for ATP tour matches. Yesterday wimbledon was done for and right now Nordea Open in Bastad, Sweden is going on along with another clay tournament in Austria and a grass tournament in Newport, USA.

Rafa Nadal is playing at Bastad after close to 20 years. He won the tournament in 2005 and is back here again for his prep for the olympics. He played with Casper Ruud as his doubles partner and defeated the no.2 seeds.

Tomorrow, we have a classic matchup - Nadal v Borg. Who wouldn't be excited at these two playing each other? Rafa will play Leo Borg, son of the great Bjorn Borg

Moving this to Chit Chat. Wimbledon Final was special occasion so it was in CT section for visibility

Can we have a dedicated Olympics thread on Cricket Talk, for more visibility? Can open in a week's time.

Hoping for good participation, Tokyo megathread was dope, 300+ pages and daily participation by many ICFers.

Other Olympics related news we can have here in chit chat (or 'Other Sports'), up to mods/admins.

But for day to day following, live updates, we'll get more visibility in CT. And not much cricket in coming days.

Tagging @Austin 3:!6 @Forever Indian as well.

Nagal lost today, shame but hope he keeps his ranking

I didn't watch the match but in the previous match, Nagal was playing well. The only problem was he relied so much on the opponent's errors. He is capable of hitting the winners as well. He moves well, is suited to the clay game. He needs to build more consistency to go higher. He is ranked in the 60s. He has to be more consistent to remain in the top 100, go deep in tournaments and possibly win a few too.
