Don't expect medals. First we need to sort out corruption. Once we fix that and raise average income to atleast China level then think about medals.

I plan to watch today's game against gbr just for fun and no expectations. it can go either way and don't want to be disappointed if it goes pear shaped. I know we are favourites but yesterday's boxing robbery is still fresh in my mind and don't want to be pissed off at the end. I'm happy with 3 medals we already have. if we extend it, its great but even if its not, im happy. there is no lack of effort from our guys and gals. things can only go up from here. sen is facing a tough opponent today in axelsen. again no expectations. its like musetti against djokovic. our guy is the underdog here.

China is not what they are today because of their current economy. They started focusing on Olympics when there was not much difference between our ecomomy in 80s-90s itself. China is not a great sporting nation as said by @Gollum. They just created athelete factories for Olympics.

Churchill was evil. both him, the british and our betrayers are to be blamed. There is also a class which is the majority who are not betrayers but don't want the trouble of going against the might of the british forces. There is another class who believed they are serving for the greater good and sided up with the brits. brits used this to divide and rule the entire country. There is more nuances to our story

Or just like cricket all opportunities are going to the perennial under achievers.

 

In archery, Deepika Kumari is world class when there is no pressure but she almost everytime fails to beat even junior competitors when she is under pressure. 

 

We need people who can handle pressure better rather than talented folks who fold like nine pins.

 That's what happened cause of our own corrupt leaders. Churchill and our leaders who betrayed us Instead of unifying india are to blame. But if we were united England never have been able to invade.

Why do we feel that we are cheated when we are not able to compete? This padosi mulk mindset needs to change. Not everything is a conspiracy. Nishant did not go to the next round because he was beaten fair and square. Does not make him a bad boxer, but at that moment the opposition got better of him. Same stands for Nikhat Zareen who was another medal contender.

how much of this is due to pressure from competition against pressure from insiders and fans. I saw kaur getting interrupted by "coach" with "straight line". I also saw Manu getting shaken up by too much noise from fans.
