Ultimate_Game Posted August 4, 2024 Posted August 4, 2024 They should've a re-run to break the tie. I still think Thompson's leg was ahead of everyone else.

neel roy Posted August 4, 2024 Posted August 4, 2024 Adam Peaty questioned China's relay victory on the final night of swimming at the Paris Olympics, saying "there's no point winning if you're not winning fair". China took gold in a thrilling men's 4x100m medley relay race, beating the United States into second and France third, with the British quartet finishing fourth. Two of the four gold medallists, Qin Haiyang and Sun Jiajun, were among the 23 Chinese swimmers who reportedly returned positive doping tests prior to the Tokyo Olympics. They were not banned because the China Anti-Doping Agency determined they had unintentionally ingested the substance because of contamination. "If you touch and you know that you're cheating, you're not winning, right?" said Peaty, who has won three gold and three silver medals for Team GB over his Olympics career.

Gollum Posted August 4, 2024 Posted August 4, 2024 (edited) FIH has rejected India's appeal. Rohidas to miss SF and won't be allowed inside player premises, India's squad one short, just 15 members. Edited August 4, 2024 by Gollum

AKane Posted August 4, 2024 Posted August 4, 2024 Thompson leaned but dropped speed to lean - that was the error. Lyles ran through and literally ran past the other 2 on the outside lane while they were doing the leaning.
Gollum Posted August 4, 2024 Posted August 4, 2024 We wouldn't have missed Rohidas that much against a team like Argentina. But against Germans, pretty big miss.
Gollum Posted August 4, 2024 Posted August 4, 2024 Make a note of all the officials, administrators who are anti-India. When we launch our league, become financially successful, blacklist these individuals.
Gollum Posted August 4, 2024 Posted August 4, 2024 Anyway keep making noise about the refs, media should do the same, bytes from Indian camp, let HI get involved, put them in spotlight so that they are a bit wary in the SF and not so open with their biases.

Gollum Posted August 4, 2024 Posted August 4, 2024 Germany is the best attacking team this competition. Defensively we are the best. Germans have scored most goals this tournament, we have conceded least. Clash of styles even though we'll be missing a key defender.

It's quite well known that China has had a state sponsored doping program along with Russia. Around 30 swimmers tested positive for China while Russia had most of their athletes tested positive at some stage. It was so bad that last Olympics Russian athletes had to compete under Olympics flag but IOC didn't have the balls to either ban Russia or China. Imagine what happens if an Indian athlete tests positive and makes the excuse that they "unintentionally" ingested the substance. WADA and IOC will just laugh and ban the athlete. However, not so for China. Edited August 4, 2024 by Ultimate_Game Gollum 1
Gollum Posted August 4, 2024 Posted August 4, 2024 I agree with @Kron, doping is a big problem and these richer nations benefit a lot. Sorry for doubting you earlier bro.
