you know what's funny - if vinesh had lost to susaki like expected she wouldn't have to bulk up for the rest of the day as no more bouts (plus semi was 4 hours later) and could also start cutting sooner.

 

come back next day, beat ukrainian and cuban, win bronze.

 

but i think that way she would have just been another bronze. this way, without a medal her legend will be stronger.

Dutch beat Argentina in SF of women's hockey, Dutch won 3-0. Sad to see two best teams in SF while China beat Belgium in the other SF in shootouts.

 

Dutch gonna whip China 10-0 in the final I think. 

 

Somehow the 4 best teams Dutch, Arg, Ger, GBR landed on same half. Crazy. Chinese finished 4th in group and playing the final. Luck does play a part in sports.

Think this is worse than what the table shows. Had Russians not been banned it is possible that we would be sitting on zero medals.

 

Russia is the best shooting nation after China, especially in recent Olympics. 

 

No disrespect to Manu and co., they can only beat their competition. But serious introspection needed now. This is way way worse campaign than Tokyo despite the illusion of all these 4th place finishes.

yup that's true as well but considering how our luck has gone bad this Olympics, maybe that was the good luck.
